Meldreth Manor Equestrian Centre has recently been approved by the BHS and now by The Pony Club for us to operate as a Pony Club Centre.

Pony Club Objectives are:

To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding

To provide instruction in riding and horsemanship and to instil in members the proper care of their animals

To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline

We will be running Pony Club on two Wednesday evenings per month together with regular competitions and events at the weekends and school holidays.

The training will include both theory and riding instruction and provide the opportunity for members to gain Achievement Badges in over 20 different subjects including Mucking Out, Saddlery, Feeding, Farming, Wild Flowers, Map Reading and Working Dogs! The achievement badges present an exciting opportunity to increase your knowledge and understanding of our favourite animals so if you are interested in joining please ask for an application form when you next visit us.
